  1. Absurd Person Singular premiered on 26 June 1972 at the Library Theatre, Scarborough, and will celebrate its 50th anniversary during 2022.
  2. All Lies will premiere at The Old Laundry Theatre, Bowness-on-Windermere, on 6 May 2022.
  3. It’s been 37 years (in 2022) since the last Ayckbourn play not to premiere in Scarborough…
  4. …and this was A Small Family Business at the National Theatre.
  5. Alan Ayckbourn was officially appointed the Artistic Director of the Library Theatre, Scarborough, on 12 November 1972, so 2022 is also the 50th anniversary of this event.
  6. The Girl Next Door became the first play directed by Alan Ayckbourn and performed in-the-round to be filmed and streamed from the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough.
  7. Time & Time Again celebrated its 50th anniversary during 2021.
