Alan Ayckbourn’s chilling play Snake in the Grass has been announced as part of Theatre Royal Nottingham’s Classic Thriller season.

Premiered in 2002, Snake in the Grass sees Annabel Chester, a failed, divorced businesswoman, returning to the crumbling family home following the death of her father.

As dark deeds rear their heads and blackmail looms, the sisters join forces in a series of chilling events, unleashing haunting and painful memories of their late father – but is anything what it seems as day shifts to night in this chilling play.
The play can be seen from 22 to 26 August at Theatre Royal Nottigham and is being presented by TABS productions and Theatre Royal Nottingham It is one of four thrillers being presented in the regularly scheduled season of repertory plays.
